Since my previous post, I’ve put the word out on tumblr (rotwork.tumblr.com), and I’m very optimistic about the potential this idea has to reach people. This has also meant that the project will be opened up to ALL nonbinary genders (we all have a lot of similarities and quite a bit of collective experience and understanding by virtue of just being nonbinary anyways).

One of the things people have mentioned so far is the inability to commit to a strict schedule, and I’d like to take this opportunity to say that there is absolutely NO requirement to respond to every prompt. Like the Carnival of Aces, participants can pick and choose to respond to whichever prompt/theme they want, and all entries will be compiled in a central location (read: here) for ease of browsing, regardless of whether you’ve contributed a single entry or have diligently responded to all of them in a timely manner.

I think at this point, it might just be best to start giving out the prompts and go from there.

  1. I like it! Simple, easy to remember but also unique enough of a hashtag to collect the ideas together. (Found you, im spiderfox on there). I dont feel like i can participate cause i dont actually DO anything with my gender identity (im genderfluid, but i just let people assume im female) but im looking forward to what others have to share.
